Golden is no stranger to making headlines. In 2023, while playing for the University of Houston, he was named Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week after returning a 98-yard kickoff for a touchdown against Texas Christian University. Just a month later, he followed up with a 100-yard return against West Virginia University.
His momentum only grew when he transferred to the University of Texas, where he recorded nearly 1,000 receiving yards and nine touchdowns during the 2024 season. By the time Golden clocked a 4.29-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, the hype around him was electric.
Golden’s excellence goes far beyond football. He’s a strong advocate for building communities and giving back, recently using part of his signing bonus to buy back his grandmother’s home.
