Biography
Mike's journey to becoming a personal injury attorney began during his very first year of law school through his law school's mentor program. He spent his first year in this program shadowing an experienced personal injury attorney in the Twin Cities. That experience solidified his passion for helping others navigate some of life's most difficult and uncertain moments. Since then, Mike has devoted his career to personal injury law - helping injured individuals both in Minnesota and Iowa pursue the justice and recovery they deserve. He has now transitioned from mentee to mentor, serving in the University of St. Thomas's mentor program. Mike has been serving as a mentor since 2023 and really enjoys the opportunity to be able to introduce law students into the world of personal injury. Mike has also served as a director on the St. Thomas alumni board since 2024. Before joining Nicolet Law, Mike practiced personal injury at two respected firms in the Twin Cities.
Mike was recently named to the 2025 Minnesota Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. This honor is reserved for just 2.5% of attorney's statewide and recognizes standout talent under 40 or with less than 10 years of experience. He was also named to the Minnesota Monthly's 2025 Top Lawyers list.
When not practicing law, Mike can be found spending much needed time with family, friends, and his dog. Mike also enjoys living an active lifestyle and has been a lifelong Minnesota sports fan.
