Biography
For over a decade I have successfully handled cases for insurance companies and corporations on the defense side in high-value trucking, automotive and product liability disputes. I have presented oral arguments in appellate courts in the State of Illinois related to personal injury cases involving exploding vape pens, influencing legal precedents related to personal jurisdiction over corporations within Illinois. I have seen first-hand how insurance companies and adjusters work and I want to use that insider knowledge along with my experience to ensure that injured people get the representation and compensation they deserve.
My goal in moving from the defense to the plaintiff side was to ensure that my clients were well-informed of the entire process and know that they have someone on their side that is aware of the internal practices, procedures and strategies employed by the insurance companies and defense attorneys employed by them. I want each client to know that I will be their biggest advocate during one of the most difficult times of their life.
I chose Nicolet Law when making the switch because it was obvious they have the care and compassion for each client that comes through the door along with the skills and knowledge to provide fierce and skillful advocacy to each client to achieve the best possible result.
I am proud to represent the people of Illinois alongside my colleagues at Nicolet law as a lifelong Illinois resident born and raised in the North suburbs of Chicago. Outside of the practice of law I fit right in with the Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota crew of Nicolet law. I have been on ice skates since I could walk and have been playing competitive hockey my entire life and in my free time still play on two rec league teams. Outside of hockey and work my hands are full with two beautiful children who are always keeping me on my toes.
I look forward to continuing and bringing the Nicolet way to the people of Illinois of not only fiercely advocating for each and every client but also making a difference in each clients life by really listening and providing personal attention to each of their needs during this difficult time in their life.
