Kaylea was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Drake University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Law, Politics and Society with a minor in Sociology, and she also holds an associate's degree in Human Services.
Alongside her work as a paralegal, Kaylea dedicates her free time to serving as an on-call Victim Advocate, supporting sexual assault survivors overnight at hospitals and crime scenes when they need it most. She and her boyfriend have 2-year-old boy-girl twins who are the center of their family's world. When she's not working, Kaylea enjoys learning something new, going to the gym, and spending time with her friends and family.
