Jon went to Saint Cloud State University as a first-generation college student, graduating with degrees in philosophy and relational communication studies. Upon going to law school, staying true to his roots, he knew that he wanted to spend his legal career fighting for everyday people, particularly when they are wronged by large insurance companies and corporations. He used his background in philosophy and communications to become a proficient legal writer.
Jon spent his early legal career working for small personal injury law firms, Minnesota's preeminent tort scholar Mike Steenson, and several district court judges in Dakota County. At Nicolet Law, Jon works for Russell Nicolet and the other attorneys as a legal writer.
Outside of legal practice, Jon is often gardening, working out, visiting state parks, working on some home renovation project, or spending time with his family.
